Firstly, cut the ripe avocados into halves and with the help of a spoon or knife, remove the seed.
Then, with the help of a spoon or spatula scoop out the flesh of avocados and place it in the mixing bowl. Discard the browned or bruised part.
Mash the avocados with the potato masher or with the fork. Mash till it turns creamy in texture and stop mashing when you see small chunks left. It gives a nice grainy texture.
Then, add finely chopped onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves and deseeded green chillies.
Also, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Lastly, add salt as per taste and 1 tsp coriander powder. Coriander powder adds a nice flavour and enhances the taste of guacamole.
Finally, give it a nice stir till all the ingredients are combined well.
Serve, fresh and homemade Guacamole with tortillas, chips or as a spread on bread to make a toast.
